Following this win they went on to the Thunder Bay Elk's Club Pee Wee Tournament, winning three in a row against Sioux Lookout (2-1), Geraldton (8-4) and Nipigon (6-5 in an overtime thriller) bringing them into the B Division 'championship game in which they lost to New Brighton Minnesota (6-2). Goaltender Frank Trichilo walked off with the tournaments most Oustanding Goal- tender Award. WINTER CARNIVAL ARTS~CRAFTS & HOBBY DISPLAY ENJOYED BY COMMUNITY The Arts-Crafts and Hobby display arranged by the Catholic Women's League in conjunction with the Annual Winter Carnival was termed a joy and success by viewers, participants and organizers. Interesting talent was featured in the many areas of painting, needlework, macrame, knitting, weaving, woodworking, nature craft pictures, quilting, furniture, model building, ete. It is desired that during the forth coming year as people fill leisure creative hours enjoying a favorite passtime, they will keep in mind the possibility of a display next year should the Funtime Winter Carnival once again become a reality.
