The OMA board of directors, acting on behalf of I2,000 physician members, passed a resolution Wednesday "deploring any legislation denying members of the Ontario Teachers' Feder- ation and its affiliates the right to resign from their employment." Lauren- ce Wilson of Kingston, who proposed the resolution, said the legislation appeared to be an unjustified restriction of civil rights. He said the services of teachers, although essential, are not vital to the public safety as are the ser- vices of police and fire fight- ers.
