We would like to take this opportunity to thanks the Auxiliary for all its support and service during the past year and also remind the gen- eral public of the importance of their work. The Auxiliary, in addition to operating the Tuck Shop, has purchased many items of equip- ment for the hospital and has also given many hours of time in volunteer services. The McCausland Hospital is your area public hospital and we feel that the Auxiliary is one important avenue which can be used by any person to show his individual concern for the improvement of his hospital. RENEWAL REGISTRATION WILL GO ON SALE The Ministry of Transportation and Commun- ications has announced that commencing Decem- ber I, I973 renewal registration for passenger motor vehicles and trailers will go on sale at 284 Licence Issuing Offices throughout the Province. As in I973, the fees are $23 for a 4-cylinder vehicle; $32 for 6-cylinders; $40 for an 8-cylinder car and $5 for trailers. This year marks the first time that Ontario will be issuing a licence plate sticker in- stead of new plates to signify that the vehic- le owner has paid his annual registration fee. No new permit will be issued for renewal -- the present permit will be used for five years. Under the new system motorists will not be required to fill in an application as in the past, but rather need only present their per- mit with the fee to the issuer.
