Aurel Gauth- ier led the singing. ; Father F.J. Meyer, Legion padre, the speaker gave an impressive address on the significance of the three simple words engraved on every cenotaph "Lest We Forget". We cannot forget wars - they are still being waged in many parts of the world, bringing suffering and deprivat- ions to many people. We can remember and mourn the many lives lost to preserve our peace and happiness. Everything in life has its price - food, clothing, shelter and most prized of all, free- dom. Cebrario and Sons, L.C.B.0., Loyal Order of Moose and Women of the Moose, Lodge #662 A.F. and A.M., Knights of Columbus #3554, Sunset Motel, Spadoni Co., St. John Ambulance and by their families in memory of G.A. Newton, Leslie Gerow and Jimmy Richardson. will be Mesdames Jo Ann Webb, Anna Figliomeni, Armela Comeau, Ida Speziale and Teresa Trichilo. It was decided to order more dishes for the kitchen supply bringing the count to I50 set- tings. Mrs. Penny- Caccamo, general convener of the Christmas bazaar, reported plans are going well, gave special thanks to Mrs. Margaret Weaver who has donated the cakes being raffl- ed, and said the proceeds of the Almost-New table will be devoted to charity. The resignation of Mrs. Teresa Stortini, recording secretary, was accepted with regret. Mrs. Irene Borutski reported plans for the annual Parish Social are well under way, with the hope that last year's gala crowd will be repeated. Mrs. Rena Ross read a selection from Women of Action - stories from the old and new Testament of women, in contrass to life now. Mrs. Geraldine McColeman read the minutes of the last meeting. Mrs. Lucette Chicoine presided for the meet -ing with Father F.J. Meyer Szfering the open- ing and closing prayers. REBEKAH LODGE TEA AND MEETING The cake draw, at the New Officers' tea of Ruby Rebekah Lodge, was won by Janet Lengyel, and the door prize by Inez McCuaig.
