FIRST SPIEL OF THE SEASON SUCCESSFUL Schreiber Curling Club's 'Get Acquainted' 'Bonspiel was well attended last weekend with twelve rinks entered. First event winners were - Wayne Stewart's rink of Mavis Slater, Shane Riley and Gail Burns. 2nd place winners were Burton Phillips' rink of John Whetter, Eva Gordon and G. Chicoine. ; Wi In the second event Ist place went to Bob Turner with Phil Lee, Pat Cook and Cathy Cocks. 2nd place were Frank Walker, Kay Fraser, Bill Hiller and Cathy Cook. The 'Biggest End' went to Gordon Lark's ~yink. Ladies Curling begins November 6th.
