The meeting is to be arranged by R.R. Steele, Reg- ional Director of Education, whose assistance and company to the session in Toronto is to be requested. An interim report on E.T.V. Aims and Objec- tives was presented by M. Averill, Committee Chairlady. Discussion on airing locally produced pro- grams evolved Board consensus that all such programs must be reviewed by a committee (of which at least one member must be a Lake Super -ior Board of Education Trustee) to ensure that nothing of an offensive or otherwise un- desirable nature is broadcast. Mr. Richard Kitto - Lake Superior High School was nominated for assignment to a pos- ition with the Department of National Defence in Europe for two years, commencing with the school year 1974-75. Trustee J. Nugent wish- ed her vote in opposition recorded. Mr. A. Bruce Gordon of the Lake Superiot Public School was nominated for teaching duties in Europe with the Department of Nation -al Defence for a two year period commencing with the school year 1974-75. In future years, the Director of Education and Principals are authorized to'study the applications for nomination and present a recommendation to the Trustees based on qualifications, Board priorities, school needs, etc. In accordance with Ontario Regulation I9I, Section 42, Subsection 6, the following Clergymen or Lay Persons designated by them will be permitted to give Religious Education in the Marathon Public School at such times within the periods referred to in Section 42, as are agreeable to both the Principal and the Clergymen or Lay Persons designated by the Clergymen: Rev.
