Lundberg LADIES AUXILIARY KEEPING BUSY The Afternoon group of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Community Church met on Monday afternoon with Mrs. Hilda Hiebert in the chair. Mrs. Hiebert welcomed all the ladies including one new member, Mrs. Robbie Velanoff. Mrs. M. Lundberg took the worship service. Mrs. Lil Harris read the secretary's report and gave the financial statement. Toys for. the child care room were purchased. A visit to the Caroline McMorland School for the Trainable Retarded in Marathon was tentatively planned for the afternoon of 'Octo~ ber 29th, if this date was Screpieile to the teacher, Mrs. Deol. It was suggested that a supply of Sockies be kept on hand for the Baby Care room on Sunday mornings. A motion was accepted to hold a tea collec- tion at the September meeting although it.is usually a Pot Luck luncheon, since the group does not hold money making projects. Bottles of glue were purchased for use in. making scrap books. Lunch was served by Mrs. Lundberg and Mrs. van Eeden. Hilda Hiebert will take worship and lunch for the next meeting. Mrs. Glorie Miller, Noble Grand, Ruby Rebekah Lodge, No. 279, Schreiber, presented a cheque for $405. to Mr. V. Mazzone, Hospital Administrator, to be used to purchase a stainless steel crib for the Nursery at McCausland Hospital. All donations are greatly appreciated by everyone connected with the hospital.
