Boy, what does a guy have to do to gain a little recognition, anymore 2??? And on the Riggs-King tennis subject, you~ 've probably read as much as you want to read about it. But there's a little human interest story that came out of Houghton, Mich. that you might like. It seems four Houghton men ran a half-page ad in the local paper, prior to the King-Riggs contest, that went like .this: "The following male chauvinists, in order to form a more per- fect union, establish justice ... promote the CROSSWORD PUZZLE ACROSS 42. The signatures were the same, except for the inclusion of "ex" be- fore all the M.C.P.s. Actually, I was also pleased when Billie Jean walloped that 55- year-old 'master mouth'. I not only cheered for her but also made a few bucks betting on her.
