ROSSPORT TOWN TOPICS Mr. and Mrs. Chas Wilde and family have re- turned from a holiday in Montreal and Eastern Ontario. : Guests of Mrs. Audrey Nicol over the week- end were Mr. and Mrs. Al Bentz, Miss Lois Bentz R.N., Mrs. Alice Bird and Mr. H. Servais all of Thunder Bay. Mrs. Susan Jacobson was a business visitor to Thunder Bay during the week. Mr. and Mrs. George Bruley and family re- turned to their home in Thunder Bay, Friday, after holidaying the past two months at their summer camp here. Judge Geo. Paradise and Mrs. Paradise have returned to their home in Sioux City, Iowa af- ter a six week holiday at the Henderson Cabins Mrs. Roy Rochon and children have returned from Wawa where they visited her brother Lion- el Hubelit and family. Mr. and Mrs. J. Desowns of Thunder Bay are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Legault. Mr. and Mrs. George Beaudour and family of Thunder Bay are visiting relatives here. Mrs. J. Lanigan left Saturday for her home in Marmora, Ont. after a visit with her son Ronald Lanigan and family. Mrs. S. Bouchard of Nipigon spent the past week with her brother Alfred Ray. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gerow and family left Saturday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hubelit at Parisienne Island lighthouse near Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. Mrs. Mary MacDonald of Thunder Bay is *visit- ing Mrs. Esther Seppala and her daughter Lorraine. : Tommy Ray of Schreiber is holidaying with Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Ray and Alfred Ray. A linen shower was held Friday evening at Mrs. Lester Legault's home, honouring Miss Diane Campbell bride-elect of October. Re- ceiving with the bride were her mother Mrs. Francis Campbell, her aunt Mrs. Lester Legault and her sister Mary Clare Campbell. As Diane and her mother entered they were presented with corsages of garden flowers. Dining room hostesses were Beverly Legault and Joan Camp- bell. The living room was decorated in white and pink streamers, flowers, bells and balloons. The guest of honour sat in a decorated chair and was presented with a decorated basket of gifts. Her sister Joan assisted in opening the gifts while Beverly Legault decorated a picture hat with the ribbons and bows. Mary Clare Campbell attended the guest book. A buffet luncheon was enjoyed supplied by the hostess her aunt Mrs. L. Legault, from an attractive decorated table centered by the brides cake made by her aunt Mrs. Felix Legault It was topped by the ornament from her parent's wedding cake and cut and served by the bride- elect. Humourous contests were enjoyed and Mrs. Joyce Lanigan provided background music on the guitar. Those present were Mrs. Esther Seppala, Lorraine Seppala, Mrs. Anne Todesco, Mrs. Felix Legault, Mrs. Nacy Marquis, Mrs. Marion Reid, Mrs. Francis Campbell, Mrs. Gwen Gerow, Alice Bouchard, Joan Campbell, Mrs. Doris Marcella, Mary Clare Campbell, Beverly Legault, Mrs. Camilla Legault, Maxine Hubelit, Mrs. Edith Ibey, Mrs. Josephine Kenney, Mrs. Prina Gerow, Mrs. Joyce Lanigan, Mrs. Daphine Henderson, Mrs. Doris Legault, Mrs. Mary Schelling, Mrs. Kathleen Bouchard, Mrs. Audrey Nicol. A mock wedding was portrayed by Mrs. Bou- chard as the bride, Maxine Hubelit the groom and Mrs. Camilla Legault the Minister.
