After a recent inspection of the road to Lake Superior by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications they found it would conform to the required standards for rural roads. Prior to the Township accepting this road into: their system, the present owner would be re- J quired to dedicate to the Township, a right-of -way 66 feet wide minimum. A letter from Thunder Bay Hydro notifying Council of their decision to cease participa- tion as co-sponsor of the T.V. Program "Reach for the Top" caused the Terrace Bay Council to be doubtful of its own participation in this program in the Fall. With the increase in compensation by the Workmen's Compensation Board for volunteer firemen, Council will revise the amount of coverage presently in effect for their volun- teer firemen.
