The dinner was con- vened by Mrs. Jeanette Gunter and Mrs. Dorothy Koski, with assistance from ladies of the Aux- iliary. Mrs. Edna Beddard was in charge of arrange- ments. The Legion Championship for 72-73 went to the Irish Regiment - Bill Moon, Captain; with Bea St. Louis, Sam Boyd, Paul Coupal, Nick Chopty and Jean Fisher. Roll-off Champions were also the Irish Regiment. Consolation roll -offs went to the Corvettes, Harold Milks, Captain; with Mary Teniuk, Howard Cooke, Addie Daley, Len Swirhun and Marion Pluta. Individual trophies went to Dorothy Coupal, Ladies High Average; Paul Coupal, Men's High Average; Stella Gusul, Ladies High Single; Jim St. Louis, Men's High Single; Yvonne Le- Clair, Ladies High Single w/hdc.; Ray Belliv- eau, Men's High Single w/hdc.; Edna Beddard, Ladies High Triple; Emil Hamman, Men's High Triple; Mary Milks, Ladies High Triple, w/hdc.; George Churney, Men's High Triple w/hdc. The Most Improved Lady Bowler was Lois MacRae and the Most Improved Male Bowler was John Teniuk. Mrs. Beddard thanked everyone who had help- ed to bring another Legion bowling season to a close and called upon Mrs. Pauline Moon to present the 300 plague, donated by Moon's Tex- aco. Pat Jones received it on behalf of the 300 club. Names to be added this year were Marion Pluta, Dorothy Coupal, Howard Cooke, Bill Moon and Jim St. Louis, who is a Charter member of the 300 club, and has won the honour three years in a row.
