On June I2th at Provincial Court, Terrace Bay, Judge Cunningham issued a warrant for the arrest of William Lewis of Ohio who failed to appear to answer a charge of theft. Lewis had deposited $100.00 bail which was forfited. LEGION BOWLING The wind-up will be held at the Legion Hall on Friday, June 22nd. Social hour at 5:30 p.m. and Smorgasbord at 6:30 p.m. All tickets, stubs and receipts for the bowling draw to be turned in to G. Churney. Draw to be made after the presentation of trophies. The evening will conclude with dancing. OUTING PLANNED FOR STUDENTS The annual cuting for the students of the Caroline McMorland School is again set and plans finalized. The three-day trip to the Thunder Bay area during June I9-2I will provide the children with exposure to a wide variety of events and tours. This year again the itinerary will include a "Fun Day" of games and sports at Twinhaven School during the second day of the outing. The first and third days will include visits to farms to learn of their operations, to the Avila Centre, Arc Industries, Palm Dairies, St. Mary's School and Chippewa Park. At each stop the children will have opportunities to obser- ve and learn through questioning and participa- tion in a wide variety of activities. Other features of the trip will be picnic lunches, visits to some of the better known take-out restaurants and what will probably be most popular, a stop at an ice cream mart. Five adults will accompany the children. Besides Mrs. A. Deol, Principal of the School, and Mrs. E. Stoddard, her assistant, the group will consist of two parents, Mrs. A. Allen of Terrace Bay and Mrs. G. Gobeil. Mr. Paul Deol who has helped with the regular classes in the High School gymnasium for the past year, will complete the group of chaperones. Friday, the 22nd, the day after their re- i turn, the children will enjoy another highlight of their school year, the Annual Picnic Day at Penn Lake.
