RECREATION NEWS SWIMMING PROGRAMME : Swimming registration for July swim classes must be in by Wednesday, June 20th. Late registrations will not be guaranteed a placing at the July session of the swim pool program. The swim pool program will be opening Mon- day, June 25th, I973. Swim pool hours from June 25th to July 2nd inclusive are as follows 2:00 to 5:00 Open Swim; 6:00 to 9:00 Open Swim. ADULT SWIM CLASSES: Anyone interested in taking adult swim classes, please leave your name at the Recre- ation Office or at the swim pool office before Wednesday, July 4th. Any adult interested in adult swim classes should indicate what time they would prefer for these classes. SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAMME : Art, crafts, volleyball, hiking, drama, sports and special events are just a few of the high- lights of the summer playground program being planned to include children of school age and up. This year's playground staff is as follow Supervisor - Donna Chapman; Leaders - Frances Cooke, Brenda Chapman, Georgina Caron. and will run refer to the for eight weeks. Children should following schedule for the time of their age group. ' Age Group Time 5 and 6 year olds 9:30 - II:00 a.m. 7 and 9 year olds 5:30 = 7:00 p.m. IO and I2 year olds 6:30 = 8:00 p.m. I3 years and over 8:00 - - 9:00 p.m. All age groups are to meet at the curling lounge at their specified time starting Tues- day, July 3rd. MINOR BALL REGISTRATION DEADLINE TODAY : A reminder to girls and boys that the reg- istration deadline for the minor ball program is Wednesday, June 20th. Teams and schedules will be drawn up" soon after the registration deadline and all play- ers will be informed of all particulars. VOLUNTEERS ESSENTIAL TO MINOR BALL PROGRAM: To date, four people have volunteered their time and effort to assist in the minor ball program. This program cannot operate with four volunteers.
