One candidate was initiated into member- ship. First nominations for officers was held, with second nominations planned for the May 23rd meeting. Mrs. Slater gave a description of her year's activities as president, with 98 meet- ings attended, to date. She said it had been an interesting and rewarding experience, giv- ing her a host of memories to treasure. She thanked the Lodge warmly for the warm welcome, the dinner provided, her corsage and gift. Mrs. Cladyon and Mrs. Clemens spoke brief-y] ly and Mrs. Machan brought formal greetings from Topas Lodge. Following the meeting a social hour was enjoyed with Mrs. Harris' committee serving lunch.
