APRIL I8, I973 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 5 TOPS CLUB HOLDS SPECIAL AWARDS NIGHT Husbands and families of members of the Schreiber Terrace Bay Tops On I586 were spec- ial invited guests for their Special Awards Night on April 4th. The Tops Club was started September 2Ist, I972 and has a large enthusiastic membership which has enjoyed much success over the past few months. There was a short meeting during which Weight Recorder, Rhea Beaulieu, reported the club had lost I,439 pounds since September. Monthly awards were then presented, the high- light being the presentation of the trophy by Sheila Bosley, previous winner to new winner Sheila Dakin for "Best Weight Loss for the Month in all Divisions." A presentation was made to the first KOPS Alma Moguin, who reached her Kops status on Awards Night. Special awards were then presented by Leader, Helen Dooley to the following members deserving special recognition for "Best Weight Loses up to December 3I, I972: Honourable mentions in their divisions went to: Lois Gilmour I3 lbs.; Rhea Beaulieu 2IX% lbs.; Dorothy Coupal 3I lbs.; Runners-up Division Winners =- presented with tops pin and certificates - Millie Glad I5 1lbs.; Alma Mo- quin 23 1lbs.; Linda Orlesky I7% lbs.; Helen Dooley 48 lbs. First Place Division winners, presented with a trophy and certificate =- Gladys Ander- son I6 lbs.; Margaret Drake 30% lbs.; Yvonne Vienneau 37% lbs.; Lois MacRae 50 lbs.; Runners up - "Best Weight Loss of the Year" presented with trophy =--Helen Dooley 48 lbs. First place winner "Best Weight Loss of the Year" - Lois MacRae 50 lbs. was presented with a trophy, tops pin, sash and corsage. Members and guests then enjoyed piano selections, songs and skits and humourous poems written by various members and read by Paulette Gordon. Then to end the evening a diet buffet lunch with coffee, tea and punch was served and all agreed it had been a great evening, enjoyed by everyone. A surprise presentation made during the evening was made to Helen Dooley on behalf of the Tops club for her dedication and leadership. Credentials Committee (I) The Credentials Committee shall consist of a general practitioner from the Active Seaf Staff and two physicians appointed to the Honourary Staff by the Board with the primary purpose of serving on the Credentials Com- mittee.
