A lengthy discussion was held on updating the office work, which at present is time- consuming and laborious for the staff. Several types of equipment were described, and, no immediate change is being planned. It was decided to contact several firms for advice and costs. . Daylight Saving will be observed in the town from 2 a.m. April 29 to 2 a.m. October 28. The property committee will inspect the safe in the present Bank of Montreal to see if it would be of use in the town office. It was agreed to pay 17¢ a mile for a private car used on town business. The Road Supt. and Roads committee were asked to inspect the access road at Walker Lake. The D.T.C. will be asked for permission to have 30 minute parking signs in front of the town hall. LEGION AUXILIARY BRANCH 109 Mrs. Barbara McLaughlin, at the March meeting of the auxiliary to the Canadian Legion, reported the Hot Dog party served to the mice-on-ice had been a resounding success and attended by a horde of players. The auxiliary served this meal which is provided by the mothers.
