Mrs. Lundberg was thanked for convening the Sunday School luncheon, and she in turn thanked everyone who had given so generously of their time in helping make it such a success. Mrs. Lil Harris has agreed to convene the Boy Scout Banquet to be held on February 24th, in the Church. The Altar Committee, Mrs. C. Ropchan and Mrs. M. Gander were complimented on the beauti- ful Poinsettias which graced the Altar during the Christmas Season. Mrs. P. McKague thanked the Auxiliary on be- half of herself and family for the lovely Poinsettia delivered to the Manse. The President announced that the World Day of Prayer would be held this year in the Community Church, and that an invitation would be issued to the members of St. Martin of Tours to join in this world wide act of Worship for Women. Mrs. McKague announced that her Junior Choir will be journeying to Thunder Bay to take part in a Music Workshop, the weekend of Janu- ary I2-I4. She made an appeal to drivers to take the girls up and bring them back. Anyone wishing to aid in this endeavour is asked to call Mrs. McKague. Retiring president, Mrs. G. Buckley; Sick and Visiting-Mrs. M. Dorland; Worship-Mrs. M. McKague; Member- ship-Mrs. C. Ropchan. Rev. P. McKdgue was present to instal the incoming officers for the year 1973. Mrs. Lundberg took the chair and asked for new business. > Paper and pencils were passed out and each member was asked to give one suggestion that would make the meetings meaningful and inter~ esting. These suggestions were read aloud, and hopefully will help the new executive plan for the forth coming year. The question was raised as to whether there was any age limit regarding membership in the Auxiliary. It was decided that anyone, regard less of age, is welcome to become a member. Mrs. Lundberg stated that the annual con- gregational meeting will take place immediate- ly after the Morning Service on January 2Ist, and that the Church Board had made a request that the Auxiliary would serve coffee and do- nuts at the close of the meeting. Mesdames P. Jones, B. Barnett and G. Soughton agreed to take on this task. The meeting was adjourned and lunch was served by Mrs. H. Brooks and Mrs. E. Buckley. ROBBIE BURNS NIGHT The Masonic Lodge, /AF & AM 662 Terrace Bay are holding their anpual Robbie Burns Night, on Friday, January 26th in the Lodge Hall. Supper will be gerved at 6:30 P.M. and Dancing to live mysic will begin at 9:00 p.m. Refreshments will be available and tickets are $6.00 per couple.
