After reading the Terrace Bay News of Dec. 6, I find that an additional by-law is to be prepared to further restrict the use of snow machines. I am convinced that Council did confer with the people at last winter's meeting regarding this proposed by-law. I do not like behind-the-back laws being implemented that concern so many of the general public in this license and insurance fees, obeying Provincial traffic laws, and trying to get along with my neighbours with-, out having additional restrictions placed on me. There are many other communities in Northwestern Ontario that have no special by-laws governing the use of snow-machines. They simply enforce the Traffic Act. This is a small community.
