NOVEMBER 22, 1972 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 5 Councilmen who are employees of the company must be prepared to vote by concience. | say this because in the past | have had councilmen admit to me that there was no alternative to the way they voted. | am quite sure that the other candidates entertain an interest in the towns welfare. But fear of ones job which in my opinion is totally unfounded has been the cause of much undesirable legislation. In closing this letter | would like to state that my reference to the company actually applies to local company policy as pursued by its representative. Kimberly-Clark Corporation has done tremendous work for Terrace Bay but unfortunately as witnessed this year their policy has definitely been altered. There is no doubt that efforts will be made to have the town shoulder some of this responsibility. It is very well for the company to stabalize their position but this should not be done at the expense of the town, ; The expense of installing a new heating system and installation of a new ice plant at the Recreation Centre is definitely a company responsibility. The town also needs a choper to rationalize the control of expenditures. | appeal to the voters for this job.
