Lang, Mrs. H. Kodila and D. Luke. At the conclusion of the meeting a vote of praise was extended to the past executive, coaches and re- ferees for their tremendous work. These men and wo- men gave their time and energy in promoting hockey for our boys. To these people we say "Thank You". The new executive met on Friday, October 20th to discuss the forthcoming season and to select convenors, Have you any old skates or hockey equipment you would like to sell? We will sell them for you at our Annual Skate Exchange. Bring your skates and equip- ment to the Large Meeting Room Friday night (Oct. 27th) from 7 = 9. There will be a 25¢ non refundable handling charge. The Annual Skate and Hockey Equipment Exchange will take place on Saturday, October 28th from 10 = 12 noon - Large Meeting Room . The Hockey Forms will be distributed to the schools early this week. These forms will be filled out by the boys and their parents at home. Registration will take place on: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28th - FROM 9-12 noon - SMALL MEETING ROOM AT THE RECREA- TION CENTRE. Registration fees for this season will be-$2.00 per person and a maximum of $5.00 for 3 persons or more in one family. After the Registration deadline, the charge will be $2.50 per person, no maximum. If you plan to be away on that day contact Mrs. E. Kettle = 3526 and she'll register the players before the dead- line. A lengthy discussion took place concerning money making events, ice time, coaches and other pertinent matters. The 1972-73 executive expressed themselves by saying they will do their best in fulfilling their respon- sibilities as officers of Minor Hockey . If you have any questions you would like discussed on hockey matters, contact a member on the executive and it will be brought to the meeting for discussion. The next meeting is called for Thursday, November 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the Small Meeting room at the Recreation Centre. All executive and Board members are asked to be there as important matters will be brought to the floor. DID YOU KNOW: that Minor Hockey in Ontario is on the upswing. In one year the number of players re= gistered showed an increase of some 39,000 to 137,93 and an increase of 1511 teams over the 1970-71 figure of some 6100 teams. Kimberly =Clark Policy Re Cleaning Driveways Residents of Terrace Bay wishing to have their driveways cleared this winter may have this service on a continuous basis by filling in an application form at the watchman's station. As in the past, you will be billed once per year "April" for the number of times your driveway is cleared "$2.00 per clearing". The price for clean- ing driveways on a one shot basis is $3.00. Driveways will be cleared only when equipment is available.
