OCTOBER 4, 1972 TERRACE BAY NEWS RECREATION NEWS Terrace Bay Badminton Club Begins Season: The Terrace Bay Badminton Club commenced its 1972-73 season last Thursday, September 28th. Playing nights for the club will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. and on Wednesdays 8:00 to 10:30 p.m. at the High School auditorium. President of the Terrace Bay Badminton Club is Mr. Herb Sammann and Secretary is Mrs. R. Kenney. Anyone wishing information about the club and its activities may contact the above mentioned people or the Terrace Bay Recreation Office. The basic function of the Rec~ reation Department is to assist groups and/or individu- als in providing programmes that meet their respective interests. Is there something that you would like to see attempted? - are there any workshops or clinics you would be interested in taking? - are you interes- ted in starting something that is not presently offered? If so, why not call the Recreation Office at 3542 and share your ideas. Remember that you should make your interests and ideas known. Without your co-operation in this regard, it is difficult to determine what you would like to take part in. Ringette: An attempt will be made to form a Ringette league again this year.
