Born and education in | Toronto, Ontario, Miss | Butler graduated from the . school of Nursing Hospital or Sick Children, Toronto She holds a certificate in Public Health Nursing from the University of Western Ontario and one in Administration and Supervision in Public Health Nursing, with a specialty in mental hygiene from the University of Toronto. Miss Butler was employed by the former Fort William and District Health Unit for nine years as both a public health nurse and later assistant supervisor. She obtained her B.Sc. N. at Lakehead University and for the past five years has been a lecturer there in public health nursing. She has a very active record of participation in the Registered Nursing Association of Ontario at local, district, and provincial level'. She is the past president of the R.N.A ,O. Profess- ional Nurses Association and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Nurses Association ROSSPORT Mr. and Mrs. Leon Nicol of Thunder Bay spent the weekend on the island bearing their name. Visitors with the R.T. Kenneys were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Weiss of Oregon City, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Ray of Washburn, Wis.; and Mr. and Mrs. A. Donovan and their son-in-law Garth Galloway en- route from an extended vacation in B.C. to their home in Elgin, Ontario. Mrs. Donovan is Mr. Kenney's oldest sister.
