(b) the jurisdiction of the Ontario Muni- cipal Board. (c) the structure and organization of the Ontario Municipal Board. (d) the procedures and practices of the Ontario Municipal Board. (e) the procedures by way of appeal from the orders and rulings of the Ontario Municipal Board, includ- ing appeals by way of petitions to the Lieutenant Governer in Council. (f) the relationship of the Ontario Municipal Board in the discharge of its responsibilities with the Provincial Government, Local government and the individual citizen. The Committee invites written briefs from individuals and organizations who may wish to present infor- mation, opinions or suggestions regarding any of the above matters relating to the Ontario Municipal Board. Plans are under way for a Playground Entertain- ment Night to be held August 17th. There are only two weeks of Playground left so come on out and take part while there is still time! Ontario's Ministry of Industry and Tourism sponsor- ed 24 sales missions abroad to major markets during 1971, with 180 Ontario companies participating. BIG TRACK COMPETITION ESTABLISHED On Monday, August 14th, Terrace Bay will host the first annual Terrace Bay-Schreiber track meet. Over 200 young athletes are expected to participate in the meet which will last from 1:00 to 5:30 p.m. The events which will be contested are: 5-6 year olds-40 meter dash; 7-9-100 meters, 200 and long jump; 10-12-100, 200, 400 Relay, long jump, high jump, shot put and triple jump; 13-16-100, 200, 400, 800 relay, long jump, high jump, shot put and triple jump. All events will have boys and girls sections except the triple jump and the 800 which are for boys only. : The meet is being sponsored jointly by the Recrea- tion Departments in Terrace Bay and Schreiber. Anyone willing to help officiate the meet or wish more information is asked to contact Mr. John Brooks through the Terrace Bay Playground Program, at the Schreiber Olympic Club workouts (3:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday), or at 824-2747. SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. GRACE MOORES The funeral of the late Grace Moores whose death at the age of 52 occurred in hospital on July 31, was conducted by Rev. P. McKague in the Terrace Bay Community Church on Thursday, August 3rd. Mrs. Kevin O'Brien was organist. The honorary pall bearers were Howard Solly, Jim Duggan, Vincent Mclnnes, Paul Kusik, Jim Kostecki, and Charles Boon. Interment will be in Terrace Bay cemetery follow- ing cremation. Mrs. Moores was a resident of Schreiber for the past two years, formerly of Terrace Bay. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd, in 1970. She is survived by one daughter, Lynne, Mrs. Norman Boon, Schreiber; three sons, Randy, Robert, Errol of Thunder Bay; three sisters, Ethel, Mrs. Sam Boyd, Terrace Bay; Romona, Mrs. Ralph Francis, New Brunswick; Rose Marie, Mrs. Ray Corbett, Quebec; six brothers, Harvey, Robert, Francis Adams of New Brunswick; Douglas, Dennis and Alward Adams of British Columbia; her mother, Mrs. Helen Adams of Tide Head, N.B. She was also predeceased by her father, two sisters and three brothers. Those attending from out of town includ- ed Mr. and Mrs. Randy Moores, Mr. Robert Moores and Miss Brenda Reid, Mr. and Mrs. B. Owens, all of Thunder Bay; Mrs. R. Corbett, Quebec and Mrs. J. Glidden of New Brunswick.
