Celestial body SERVICES HELD FOR WILLIAM GOODFELLOW William James Goodfellow, well-known former Schreiber railroader, died in hospital, in Toronto on July 20th. The funeral service was conducted on July 23, in the Goodfellow Funeral Home, Parham, Ont. by Rev. Norman Morris. Interment was in the family plot in Picadilly cemetery, Godfrey, Ont. Pall bearers were Alex Babcock, William Giles, George Kennedy, Arthur Hamilton, Lionel Leslie and Leslie Judge. Mr. Goodfellow is survived by his wife, the form- er Lorna Plummer of Schreiber and a sister, Myrtle Goodfellow. He was predeceased by his father, Samuel Goodfellow, mother Mary Goodfellow, sister Annie Goodfellow and brother Dr. Frank Goodfellow. Mr. Goodfellow with the C .P. Rail as a trainman, retired in 1953, ending a service of 47 years and 4 months, in the passenger service. He was a Life Member of Shuniah Blue Lode No. 287, Port Arthur; Life Member of Shuniah Chapter No. 82, Port Arthur; Life Member of Rhodes Per- ceptory No. 23, Port Arthur; a member of Shriner- Mocha Temple, London, Ont.; and the Oddfellows Lodge, No. 402, Schreiber . He and Mrs. Goodfellow had resided for many years in Toronto at 100 Wellesley St. East, Apt. 704, Plaza 100, Toronto 5, Ont. TRACK TEAM WINS IN THUNDER BAY On July 27th a Terrace Bay-Schreiber track team travelled to Thunder Bay and defeated the Fort William Track Club, the Thunder Bay Olympic Club and the Red Rock Track Club. Tara Greenwood, with three firsts, Warner James with two firsts and a second and Bill Smilsky with two firsts dominated their events. Other high scorers were Jill Boyar with a first and two seconds, Robert Vanderkam with a first and a second, and Vince Maronese with two seconds and a third. Len Winters picked up a second while Susan. Johnson, Nancy Bouchard, John Dye, Bruce Hiller, Rainer James and Greg Turner all helped out with thirds. THE INJURED WORKMEN'S CONSULTANTS The Injured Workmen's Consultants is a charitable non-profit Crown Corporation. It was incorporated in 1971 by Mr. and Mrs. Allen Baldwin, who are presisident and secretary-treasurer respectively. Our purpose is to assist industrial accident victims to overcome the difficulties often encountered on obtaining their legal right to compensation as de- fined in the Workmen's Compensation Act. We do this by providing expert advice, assisting workmen in assembling the necessary documentation of their case and by representing them in claim hearings before the Workmen's Compensation Board (W.C .B.). A workman's claim at the W.C .B. depends prim- arily on medical evidence and it is through this evidence that we are able to prepare a workman's case in such a way that he is able to get maximum compensation.
