PAGE 6 TERRACE BAY NEWS JULY 26, 1972 RECENT VANDALISM SHOCKS COMMUNITY The vandalism which took place in St. Martin of Tours Church last week has shaken every mem- ber of this community, to the depths of their being. One cannot conceive of how sick a mind must be that would desecrate a church. Destroying public property, writing dirty words on walls, destruction in schools and parks is hard for normal people to understand. But one wonders what kind of a sick or deranged person would go into a church such as St. Martin's and deliberately deface and destroy the house of God. It is to be hoped that these persons will be found and given help or put away because surely they are a menace to our town and to their fellow humans.
