We did present a very much reduced package to the Govern- ment Mediator, but Hydro refused to budge on its pre- conditions of split wage, continental work week and no job security, thereby blocking negotiations. These distortions, along with Hydro's claim that we are in general strike situation, indicate very clear- ly that Management is doing its best to prevent the Ontario public from understanding the issues behind this strike. The Confederation College Caravan will be at the Schreiber Public School, Schreiber on Wednesday, July 26th and at the Simcoe Plaza, Terrace Bay on Thursday, July 27th.
