PAGE 8 PLAY GROUND NEWS A very successful scav- enger hunt was held last Wednesday evening with Teddy Coupal and David Sadowick emerging as the grand winners. They managed to collect 1964 points worth of articles with Kenny Seidel com- ing second. Special thanks to all parents who contributed to the Hunt and to Mr. T. Pollard. Friday morning the 5 and 6 year old children held a picnic in Centen- nial Park where they found a present of candy left there for them by the mysterious "George the Gentle Giant". While eating their lunch- es beside one of the giant foot punts they discovered in the park, the children pondered over the whereabouts of "Giant Land". That same evening the older girls had a beach supper at the Kimberly- Clark beach while the younger girls roller skated and the older boys held an exciting bowling tournament . During the week, soccer, floor hockey, football, roller skating sessions, drama and var- ious arts and crafts were enjoyed by the children participating. It is still not too late so why not come and en- joy yourself. See the Playground bulletinboard in the Recreation Centre for further Playground programs. TERRACE BAY NEWS deliver. JULY 12, 1972 e The rest is up to you. Delivering a constant flow of power, dependably and safely--that's your Hydro's round-the-clock responsibility. And because electricity provides so many services so dependably, most homeowners can take it for granted. And yet, in many homes over ten years old, the quality of service is severely restricted--simply because the wiring is outdated and inadequate. Rewiring can make a world of difference: In convenience, by providing ample outlets and switches where you want them. In performance, by bringing full power to your EE: ELE MODERNIZATION appliances so that they can operate at peak efficiency. In safety, by eliminating the hazards of an over- burdened wiring system. Good reasons for giving top priority to your home wiring when you consider making improvements. To find out what rewiring can do for your home, call a qualified Electrical Modernization contractor. And ask him about the Hydro Finance Plan--an easy way to fit the 2, work into your of budget. 4 ",
