She will be part of the Summersounds '72 performance to be held in Terrace Bay on August 10th, This marks the second summer in a row that Terrace Bay will have Summersounds perform. If this year's performance is anything like last year's, it will truly be an enjoyable performance. A Reminder That ........ Track and Field sessions are held at the Athletic Field every Thur sday as follows: - 3:00 p.m. - Grade 7 and up; 4:00 p.m. = Open Instructor, John Brooks is available at all sessions. = The Summer Playground Programme is now oper- d ating. A great deal of activities are planned daily with various Special Events scheduled from tim to time. Make sure your child does not miss this enjoyable learning experience. Only two more weeks before pre-tests and actual testing of your ability, Attend all your classes and make the MOST of the short time available be- fore testing. Times of classes and Pool schedule is posted at the Pool for your convenience. = The next Roller Skating session is Wednesday, July 12th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. "Sound Incorporated" to play for Youth Dance: A great number of local teenagers will remember when "Sound Incorporated" played in Terrace Bay last summer. The Dance was a huge success. "Sound Incorporated" will be playing again in Terrace Bay, on Tuesday, July 18th. The Dance is open fo anyone 13 years of age and over. Admission price will not be subsidized as was the case with Tundra. Entry to the Dance will be $1.50 per head. Dance will be held at the Terrace Bay Campus Auditorium. Don't miss the second youth dance of this summer. COMING EVENTS Tuesday, July 18th - Youth Dance, Terrace Bay Campus Auditorium. Music by "Sound Incorporated". TERRACE BAY TOWN TOPICS Claudette Boudreau graduated from Port Arthur Collegiate Institute at Thunder Bay on June 28th last. She was the recipient of an Ontario Scholar Award. This award is given by the Ontario Government to students attai ning averages of 80% or more on six grade 13 credits. Claudette plans to attend Western University this fall. : 8
