Cotton was the high net winner. Congratulations Thor. In the Labatt's sponsored twilight last Wednesday the Class 'A' winners were B. Stachiw, low net; T. Costa, low gross and the Class 'B' winners were C. Pellegrino, low net; J. Luke, low gross; high hole was won by R. MacAdam and low hole by E. Nicol. On July 1st the Knights of Columbus Trophy was won by T. Desaulniers with a low net of 74. Runner up was B. Stachiw also with 74. T. Desaulnier won the trophy after a 9 hole play-off. Other winners were- low gross, K. Hanley; low net, 1st nine , B. Miller; low net, 2nd nine, R. Gander. Puttock, RPF, as resident operations manager of Kimberly- Clark Pulp and Paper Company Limited's mill and woodlands opera- tions at Terrace Bay and Longlac, Ontario is announced by J.C. Mr. Puttock who is currently woodldnds manager, Kimberly-Clark Pulp and Paper Company Limited, at Longlac, will take up headquarters at Terrace Bay where the company's mill is located. . Mr. Puttock, 52, will succeed John A. Ferrier, mill manager at Terrace Bay, who retires on September 1. A graduate in forestry from the University of Toronto in 1947, Mr. Puttock has been associated with Kimberly-Clark since that time and has been employed in various supervisory and admini strative capacities during the last 25 years. Married, with two children, he presently resides at Longlac. He is a director of the Ontario Forest Industri es Association, and a member of the Ontario Professional Foresters' Association. The Terrace Bay mill, established in 1948, is the principal industry in the town of 1,800. It employs some 500 persons and its present capacity is 47,000 tons of Kraft pulp. The mill is supplied with pulpwood from the com- pany's woodlands operations at Longlac, where a tree nursery , maintained by the company to ensure a con= tinuing supply of new planting stock, is located.
