LADIES ANNUAL GOLF MEETING HELD Last Tuesday the first ladies twilight was scheduled but due to not enough entries, it was postponed till next Tuesday and it is hoped that enough lady golfers will turn out. More ladies however, turned out for the Annual Meeting chaired by Peggy Wellings. The C.L.G.A. are offering a very interesting Bronze Handicap Tournament. This is a team event, best ball, Midal play one handicap. This tournament is very encouraging to the ladies whose handicaps are 24 to 36. Winners wi ll be declared by July 31. Handicaps are now arrived at your ten best out of 20 scores, instead of your 10 out of 25 as in the past. There is also a Bronze plaque for your Tuesday nite Twilights, winners taking their best ten golfing scores out of 20, also a Trophy for runner up (net score) . This is an all summer event. Match play will commence early June, so 18 holes could be played instead of the usual 9. See you all on the Golf Course and good golfing.
