ROSSPORT TOWN TOPICS Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kenney were in Thunder Bay 16 attend Convocation exercises at Confederation College where their daughter Colleen graduated in Applied Arts Division, in Early Childhood Education Course. Adolph King is visiting relatives in Chapleau this week. Mr. and Mrs. Chas W. Todesco have returned from Toronto and Sarnia. Miss Lorraine Seppala and Floyd Harnden have re- turned from a holiday spent in Toronto and other eastern cities. Edward Kenney B.Sc. and family of Duberger, Quebec visitied Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kenney and other relatives here the past fortnight enroute to Kelowna, B.C. where Mr. Kenney has accepted the position of assistant director of recreation and tourism. Lionel Hubelit of Wawa arrived here Saturday to take his tug the Wavy 11 to Port Arthur Dry Dock. He was accompanied to Thunder Bay by his sister Maxine, Miss Mary Zwir of Terrace Bay; Lucky Hay of Wawa, his uncle Russell Gerow; cousins William and Debbie Gerow of Thunder Bay. They planned on docking at Bowman Island over night enroute at Mr. Gerow's camp. ; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lanigan of Nipigon spent the holiday weekend with the Dave Mushqush family. Alice and Tommy Bouchard, Leona and Raymond Goodchild and Laurie Anne Mushqush are in the grade seven and eight public school students of Schreiber who leave on a bus tour of Toronto and Niagara Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Legault and family of Terrace Bay spent the holiday weekend at their summer home here. Mr. and Mrs. George Bruly, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bruley and families and Mrs. Grace Bruley of Thunder Bay spent the holiday weekend af their summer home here. Mr. and Mrs. R. Skillen arrived Monday from Nipigon with their motor cruiser. The first charter cruise of the tourist season in local waters aboard the cruiser Yennek was enjoyed this weekend by Mrs. M. Jones of Slulton, England, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Jones of Terrace Bay, Stephen and Diane Jones also of Terrace Bay. The Federal Government came through with a grant in the Opportunities for Youth program which will involve eight boys in the village.
