Inter-Campus Track Meet: The Inter-Campus Track Meet held at Schreiber Campus on May 15 was won by Schreiber Campus, 408 to 315 overall points. Both the Schreiber Campus boys' and girls' teams were victorious. The girls won by a score of 180 to 167. The boys won by a score of 228 to 148. The midget girls' champion was Darlene Fummerton (Schreiber Campus) with the maximum of 25 points. Midget boys" champion was Robert Vanderkam, (Terrace Bay Campus) with 21 points. Junior girls' champion was Clover Dukes (Schreiber Campus) with 16 points. Junior boys" champion was Bill Smilsky (Schreiber Campus) with 20 points. Senior girls' champion was Geraldine Belliveau (Terrace Bay Campus) with 18 points. Senior boys" champion was Ken Turner, (Schreiber Campus) with 17 points. All first place performances will stand as records for Lake Superior High School . Anyone placing first or second in any event qual- ifies as a member of the school team and will travel to Wawa next Tuesday. Awards including ribbons and trophies will be presented to all winners in each event as well as division champions at the forthcoming Athletic Association Banquet. Photo below = Ken Turner competing in Senior Boy's Long Jump. 72: Summer School Lake Superior High School is prepared to organize Summer School classes in any subject for which there is a sufficient number of students; namely 20, and for which the services of a teacher can be obtained. These courses may be for credit purposes, or of a recreational or cultural nature and will be held in both campuses, according to enrolment and requests. Such courses would require attendance for 120 hours for credit purposes, 60 hours for upgrading and an unspecified number of hours for cultural or recreational purposes. Dress throughout the course would be casual, and the classroom may be any where in the vicinity, including such places as parks, school yards or lakeside. : Classes will begin Monday, July 3rd, and be ter- minated August 11th.
