'Minutes of the previous meeting - were adopted as read. Upon the recommendation of the Recreation Comm- ittee, Council passed a resolution to hire Roy Corn- fiel d as caretaker at the Recreation Centre. The A .M.E.U. Father Greengrass asked Grace. Mr. Rolly Sinotte, on behalf of the Chamber of Com- merce, presented a number of gifts and vouchers to the happy parents. A letter was received from the Royal Canadian Leg- ion, Branch 223, inquiring as to whether Council was interested in purchasing the old Legion Hall, after the completion of the new one. Advice was received from the Association of Ontar- io's Municipalities, re the appointment of voting del- egates. Council passed a resolution to approve a revised benefit plan for Municipal employees, from the London Life Insurance Company. Mrs. Pat Buck, special representative to the McCau- sland Hospital Board of Governors, submitted a report of the special hospital board meeting held recently. The Building inspector submitted his report.
