Neil Foote is the coach and John Soulierse, the as- sistant coach. GRADE 8 WORK-A-THON The new trend in the younger generation's thinking is clearly shown in the latest project of grade 8, Sch- reiber public school. Presently raising funds for a trip to southern Ontario they have planned, with the municipality's blessings, a Work=A=Thon, when they will conduct a clean-up cn town streets and lanes, and ravines. As is done for walk-a-thons they will solicit sponsors and it is hoped the public will support their promise of a maximum of nine hours work. On their excursion, May 25 - June 4, they hope to visit Sault Ste . Marie, Niagara Falls, Hamilton, and Toronto, and also spend a few days on a farm in Grey County where billets have been arranged. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Duffy, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Duffy, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cebrario were in Win- nipeg to attend the wedding of Lorraine Papson and Ronald Duffy on March 17. Fire Chief Peter Doig has gone to take an 8 weeks' course at the Fire College in Gravenhurst. REBEKAHS Mrs. Mary Martinsen was the winner of the home bingo sponsored by Ruby Rebekah Lodge, with lucky number prizes won by Mrs. Dora Weaver and Mrs. Helen D'Arcy. Because of a wonderful experience had outdoors in our invigorating North- western weather. The occasion! An outdoor workshop sponsored by the Schreiber-Terrace Bay (O.E.C.T.A.) Ontario Elementary Catholic Teachers Association. The purposes: survival in the wilderness; an exper- ience to be absorbed and used with our students; enjoyment.
