BRIDGE PARTY SLATED ON APRIL 5TH The Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Leg- ion held their March meeting with Mrs. D. Gunter presiding. Minutes were read and the various com- mittees submitted their reports. Convenor for the Birthday Party April 22nd, will be Dodie Bougie and co-convenor is Page Legacy. April 14th, will be a fun night at the Legion in the form of a Sadie Hawkins Dance. This is the ladies night to host the men. The bridge party will now be held April 5th, in the Community Church Basement. Tickets are $1.00 and can be purchased from Pam Jones. The meeting then was adjourned and lunch served The pot of gold was won by Jean Fisher. IWUBERAL MEETING "A successful Liberal Meeting was held on Friday March 24th, at which there was an enthusiastic discussion about the next Federal Election and the Nominational Convention for the district which will be held in Red Rock on April 22nd. The meet- ing was strongly in favour of our present hard work- ing member, Mr. Keith Penner and will send a strong delegation for his support.
