Rib- bons were awarded to the first three finishers in each division of the race league as follows:Boy's Red Div- ision:~ Ist:= R. Vanderkam, 2nd-B. Megraw, 3rd-D . Moore . Boy's Blue Division:~ 1st- R. McBride ,2nd- G. Moore, 3rd=G. Richards. Girls Red Divisions:- 1st-Lori McBride, 2nd-Leslie McBride, 3rd-M. Fish- er. Girls Blue Division:= 1st-Cheryl Moore, 2nd- A. Stephen, 3rd- Carol Moore. The Club Championship races will be held this coming weekend with events as follows:- Saturday, March 11th = 2 p.m. = Junior Boys' and Girls" (11 years and under). Sunday, March 2th, 2 p.m. - Intermediate Boys and Girls (12 to 15 years inclusi- ve), Senior Men and Ladies (16 years and over). Ribbons will be awarded in the Slalom, Downhill and Combined categories. Races are for members only and spectators are most welcome. Racers should reg- ister at the clubhouse as soon as possible. During the races, there will be pleasure skiing as usual on the three back trails. BOY SCOUT NEWS A total of 85 cubs, scouts, venturers, their fathers, leaders and invited guests, fulled the Community Church Hall on the night of the Annual Father-and Son Banquet. Grace was said by Reverend P. MacKague, and after the toast to the Queen, David Stephen pro- posed a toast to the fathers. His father Mr. Barry St= ephen, responded with praise for the dedication of the leaders and the spirit of the Scout movement. Mr. Doug Whicker introduced the guests at the head table including Mr. D. Buckley, freasurer of the group committee, his son Jeff, Mr. Arthur Gilbert, traffic safety consultant of the Ontario Dept. of Tran= sportation and Communication, Mrs. Mary Vander- kham, secretary, Mr. D. Whicker, chairman, Rev. P. MacKague, Mr. V. Thomson, representative of the town council and Mr. R. Willie, regional com- missioner of the N .W, Ontario Region of Boy Scouts of Canada.
