Forty attended the meeting with Toi Seppala pre- siding for the election. SCHREIBER CURLING CLUB NEWS The Schreiber Curling Club has held two. successful bonspiels in the past weeks. The family bonspiel with seventeen rinks entered was held Feb. 4,5, & éth and won by the Birch family consisting of Brian (father), skip, Geof (cousin) third, Edie (sister) second, and Ruth-Ann (aunt) lead. They won the family tree trophy made and donated by lan Macadam. Second in the first event went to the Dooley clan with Helen Dooley skip, Frank Walker third, Mavis Slater second, and Myrna McCuaig lead. This rink was all distantly related somehow. The B event went to the Cocks family of Edna, Bill, Cathy and Kenny; and runners-up was the Dukes family of June, Clover, Jade and Victor. On Feb. 18,19, & 20th, sixteen rinks entered the Challenge Bonspiel . This "spiel was open to any club organization, family or firm. Many rinks such as the Proghy House, The Best of Kimberly Clark, Board of Education, O.P.P., etc., all entered in this fun spiel . Emerging victorious was the Kinsmen Club with Mike Cosgrove skip, Bob Turner third, Ray Cook second, Walt Klassen lead. Second was the Proghy House with John Wiznuc (continued page 10)
