The Father and Son banquet will be held on Feb. 26th, 1972 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Church hall. EASTERN STAR MEETS MONDAY, FEB. 14TH The Terrace Bay Boy Scouts are having a busy year, with 26 cubs, 15 scouts and 13 venturers enrolled Leader for the cubs is Mr. Wayne Young, assisted by several volunteers. Scout-leaders are Mr. G. Dickson and Mr. D. Currie, who are both regularly following leadership- training courses. Some of the boys have just finished taking a First=Aid course given by Mr. B. Lapenskie The Venturers, under leadership of Mr. D. Whicke have recently built their own cabin at White Sand Lake, where they enjoy regular ice-fishing weekends As in other years, they are again running the canteen at the ski-hill every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, which is very much appreciated by the ' Members are invited to attend the meeting planned for Monday, Feb. 14th in the Temple Hall, Terrace Bay. If you drive a car why not call another member or two and plan to be there. If you haven't been to a meeting for a while the officers, headed by Mrs. Jane Crook and Mr. Albert Farrow, will give you a warm welcome. The attendance and 'support of all members will be greatly appreciated. A social hour will follow the meeting. The thought for the month is "Never Be Afraid to Look Ahead".
