Al Allen, President, Terr- ace Bay Community Credit Union, reports Mr. Grant and the late Mr. Harry Good- fellow of Terrace Bay organ- ized the local Credit Union in 194%. Mr. Grant received his Founder's badge from the Ontario Credit Union League for his efforts for the people of this area. 61 years of age and a 36 year employee with the Abitibi Paper Company at the Mission Mill, Thunder Bay, Allan Grant leaves many friends here and in our area. Survived by his wife Myrtle and two daughters with grandchildren. He served as Reeve of the Township of Neebing for many years. Past Member - League Dir- ector of O.C ,U,L. Very active in such organizations .as Children's Aide Society, Masonic Order, Credit Union, Lakehead Historical Society. Burial services were held from Jenkin's Funeral Home, Thunder Bay, Tuesday, Jan. 11th. Flowers were sent on behalf of Officers and Mem- bership T.B.C.C.U.
