The windows broken in Moon's Texaco Restaurant is still under investigation. One person was charged with drinking under age. A break and enter charge at the North Camp is under investigation. One person was charged with theft under $50.00. Two local businesses were found open in night check and owners notified. Two children caught stealing candy bars had no charges laid against them, but parents were notified. MINOR HOCKEY MEETING - Cont'd from page 1 ... who were not interested enough in their childrens welfare to attend this meeting, will level criticism at the men who are directing the hockey program this winter. The people who found it impossible to attend the meeting but who wish to help out in any way, may do so by contacting any member of the executive. Cos Filane will once again resume responsibility for directing the Pee~Wee House Lea- gue program. It was decided that Minor Hockey would hold another Skate-athon sometime in the near future. Cos Filane thanked Bill Stefurak on behalf of Minor Hockey for the fine work he has done for the organization over the past several years. Bill did a great job as Sec.-Treasurer last year but instead of holding any specific position this year, he will help out in any area that needs his attention. Any boy interested in playing hockey this year, is reminded that registration will take place on Friday and Saturday in the Arena. RECREATION NEWS - by Jerry Dupas STRETCH & SEW COURSE The first session of the special sewing course was held last evening at 8:00 P.M, in the Home Eco- nomics of the High School . Registrations were taken at that time and anyone who failed to register should plan on bringing their registration fee to SESSION #2 which will be held - Cont'd on page 4 .
