EICKMEIER HONOURED AT RETIREMENT On August 28th at the Terrace Bay Motor Hotel at a Retirement Luncheon sponsored by the Kimberly- Clark Pulp and Paper Company Ltd., Fred Eickmeier was honoured on his retirement With almost 21 years of service for Kimberly-Clark Fred worked in the Engineering, Pulpand Services departments. Fred's per sonal guests at his luncheon were Pete Caron, Elton Fummerton, Arnold Stortini and Lorne McBride as shown in the photograph. Jack Chapman, Services and Woodhandling Sup- erintendent, presented Fred with a framed coloured photograph of Terrace Bay and John Ferrier presented him with his Kimberly-Clark lifetime pension and Permanent Gold Pass. x Fred and his wife planan extended trip to Calgary to visit their son. He will continue to reside in Schreiber. Best wishes are extended to Fred and his wife for many years of enjoyable retirement. D. MacFADYEN HONOURED AT RETIREMENT. °° On September 3rd at the Terrace Bay Motor Hotel at a luncheon sponsored by the Kimberly=Clark Pulp and' Paper Company Ltd., Dan MacFadyen was the guest of honour. Dan worked as a Mill wright for Kimberly-Clark for 22 years. For many years he was a member of Kimberly-Clark's Trades Training Advisory Committee. He is a skilled tradesman who was always willing to help and share his knowledge with the apprentices in any of the trades. A further commendable accom- plishment is Dan's work record as a Millwright with Kimberly-Clark without a lost time accident or a doctor care case! Carl Gorham, Engineering and Technical Services Superintendent presented Dan with a framed colour.d photograph of Terrace Bay and Mill Manager, John Ferrier, presented him with his Kimberly-Clark lifetime pension and Permanent Gold Pass. Dan's personal guests were his wife, Beatrice, and Willard and Mrs. Vezina. Dan and his wife left immediately for a trip out West in their camper. cont'd page 10 .......
