LADIES GOLF NEWS Winner of September 7th Low Net Tournament was Jan Hall with runners up Jeannette Gunter, Marg Phillips and Julia Rattray. Congratulations to Peggy Wellings, winner of this seasons Match Play and to runner up lvy Pattison also to Marg Phillips who won the Consolation round. At a meeting held at the club house on Tuesday night, it was decided the annual dinner and meeting will be held October 5th at the Terrace Bay Motor Hotel. McCuaig and Mr. and Mrs. W.D. McLaughlin. Mr. and Mrs. H. Martinson have returned from Kenora where they attended the wedding of their niece Miss Linda Bain. : Mr. and Mrs. R. Barnard of Kenora were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. H. Martinson. Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Wallace of Schreiber are vacationing in New York. Mrs. R.B. Spadoni and Stanley Spadoni have motored to Potsdam, New York where Stanley will attend school this fall. Mr. and Mrs. W. Gerow have returned from Winnipeg after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wainikka. Mr. and Mrs. K. O'Brien visited Mr. and Mrs. W. Grey of Thunder Bay on the occasion of their 25th Wedding Anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. G. Riley have arrived from Mount Forest and are visiting with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Potvine and family of Windsor, Ont. are visiting with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Guild and family and Mr. B Hoegu of Sault Ste Marie are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bottomley. Mrs. Inez McCuaig is visiting in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with Mr. and Mrs. B. Trowsse and family. A.B. (MUGGS) McCUAIG - 80 YEARS YOUNG At a party thrown in his honor, A.B. (Muggs) McCuaig celebrated his 80th birthday. The family. presented him with a lazy boy rocker. Among those present were all of his family, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Bourguignon, Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Gauthier, Mr. and Mrs. A. Huard, Miss Myrna McCuaig all of Schreiber; Mr. and Mrs. M. Morgan of Manitouwadge, Mr. and Mrs. T. McCuaig and Mr. and Mrs. J. McCuaig of Thunder Bay. Out of town guests were Mr. Leo Payette, Mr. Roy Payette, Mr. Gordon McCuaig, Miss Janet Kosloski of Thunder Bay; Mr. and Mrs. K.T. Mc- Cuaig of Heron Bay; Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Guild of Sault Ste.
