Receiving with her were her mother Mrs. R.B. Spadoni, Miss Helen Harness and Mrs. Gino Caccamo, her cousin. Their corsages and the tea table centre were made by Mrs. Clara Caccamo, a great aunt. Pouring tea were Mrs. F.V. Harness, Mrs. Bill Cocks, Mrs. Ted Morrow, and Mrs. Yola Cebrario. Servitors were the Misses Tana Morrow, Barbara Stefurak, Cathy Cocks, Billie Weaver, and Brenda Cebrario and Mrs. Brian and Mrs. Eddy Duffy. Mesdames Jack Caccamo, Joe Caccamo, Giovanni Cehrario, Harold Gellert, Lloyd Small and Bernard Paradis replenished. The gifts were opened by Miss Brenda Lalonde and Mrs. Russell Saarinen and the guest book attended by Cora Morrow . Mr. and Mrs. Harry Smith Jr, and their family, of Thunder Bay spent their vacation in Harry Smith's camp at Walker Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Farrell and their family are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Simon in their camp at Walker Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey McCanna, Debby and Jeff spent their vacation in Duluth and Thunder Bay. Visiting with Mrs. Eleanor O'Connor this week were Mrs. Ernestine Hucul, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Perkins, with Vicky and Steven, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sully, all of Thunder Bay. Mr. and Mrs. Eddy Sheehan and family of Macadam, N.B. visited Mr. and Mrs. George Walsh, their uncle and aunt, and many old friends in town, this week. : Mrs. Henry Nolan of London is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Campbell, visiting also many other relations in town. This does not include the new post office, a new church and rectory, bank, trailer park and liquor store and a laundromat, which the public firmly expect are to be built shortly. Mr. and Mrs. Norman McCuaig are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dave McKay in Sioux Lookout. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Drake of Thunder Bay visited the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Drake last week. : Bill Holland, of Uranium City, Sask. is the guest of his brother, Emmett Holland, visiting also his sister, Mrs. Pat Guina. Mrs. Holland is visiting her relations in Thunder Bay and will rejoin her husband this week. Doctors David and Elaine Johnson of Dublin, Ireland are the guests of Dr. and Mrs. T. Wykes, en route to Thunder Bay where they are to practice. Dr. David Johnson is Mrs. Wykes' brother . Mr. and Mrs. Ron Carter and family of Burlington visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cook recently. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. Pat Newton were his grand-nephew and wife Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Newton of Winnipeg. Pat returned to Winnipeg with them and attended the 25th anniver= sary of his nephews Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Newton. The family of four boys entertained their parents at "an anniversary dinner and surprise party was held at the home of Mrs. Newstons mother and sister There were about thirty-five guest present. Although Pat had been in Winnipeg for two days before the party it was kept secret and the biggest surprise af the party was him being there. Pat leaves September 7th for a trip to visit relatives in Ottawa and Toronto. % Miss Maureen Pineau, of Red Rock, whose marriage to Bill Scott, of Schreiber, takes place in Red Rock on August 28th was honoured at a show- er held in the Parish Centre in Schreiber on August 15th. The party was arranged by aunts of Mr. Scott - Mrs. Bill Cook, Mrs. Elton Fummerton, Mrs. Roll= and Stortini, of Schreiber, Mrs. Arnold Stortini and Mrs. Verl Thompson, of Terrace Bay. Attend- ing were the many inter-family relations of Mr. Scott and old friends. The lovely gifts were presented by Anna Fummer- ton, a cousin. Mrs. Stan Pineau accompanied her daughter to the party. Danny Spikula of Thunder Bay has been visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Julia Spikula and his aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Hobden Spikula and Mr and Mrs. John Spikula.
