She men-| tioned the Short Courses sponsored by the W.I. which educates, trains and frequently reveals a talent which has remained unrecognized or unknown. Members agreed to continue the bursary offered to grade eight in both the Public School and Separate] School . At the close of the. meeting Mrs. Jim Crook, accompanied by Mrs. J.D. Bryson, sang "Mother", an old song. The afternoon ended with supper and much visiting around the long decorated table centred with a special cake and spaced with candles. * Reeve F.V. Harness brought the congratulations of the town council and the community and speaking of the changes taking- place in this part of the prov- ince he said Schreiber will be having its share and - as before, the Women's Institute will be contributing their part.
