"Mrs. Lundberg issued an invitation to the After- noon group to attend the evening auxiliary meeting on May 3rd, when Mrs. Averill, Special Education Consultant, will be the guest speaker. All interest- ed ladies in the town are invited fo attend. A suggestion to hold a Friendship Luncheon in September was favourably received and plans will ~ be further discussed on this project. Mrs. Dorland made some suggestions for the Nur- sery in the Church Hall where small children are cared for while their mothers attend services. One suggestion was that a new rug, perhaps in indoor-outdoor carpeting, be considered and thgt dinky toys could be supplied for the little boys who attend, since most of the toys are stuffed animals. Anyone having used dinky toys may leave them at the Church. Canada Packers labels are still being collected and will be counted at the next meeting. Also used greeting cards. The president closed the meeting with a Prayer poem, and the ladies packed boxes for the Crippled Civilians in Toronto.
