ALTAR SOCIETY PLAN A MISCELLANEOUS BINGO Mrs. Felix Legault hosted members of St. Berchman's Altar Society Thursday evening for their regular monthly meeting. Several pieces of sewing and novelties were handed in for the Penny Auction. It wes decided to purchase new surplaces for the altar boys and to have their sutans dry cleaned. It was decided to hold a miscellaneous bingo on Monday, April 26th. Mrs. Hubelit read the minutes and correspondence. Mrs. Gerow, president, presented the financial statement and gave a report on the recent entertainment held. Miss Shute was born in Meaford, Ontario, and received her High School Education in Owen Sound. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts degree, This past year she attended the Ontario College of Education. Miss Shute wes very impressed with the beautiful scenery on her first trip to Northern Ontario. We hope that Miss Shute's stey in Schreiber will be an enjoyable one. LETTER TO THE EDITOR One hears so much about the destructive things that youths do, but it is a pleasure to have something nice to say about them.
