APRIL 21, 1971 PAGE 11 I's BADMINTON TOURNAMENT HELD AT DRYDEN On April 16, 1971, a bus started out at 10:00 a. m. from Manitouwadge to pick up the badminton representatives from the NWOSSA division to head towards Dryden. Ralph Coe r« presented Terrace Bay High School. Ten hours later we arrived in Dryden. Early the next morning we met our competition and after a very long and hard day of stiff competition a banquet was held in the school cafeteria for all the players. Here the awards were distributed to the various winners. Winners from our district were: Jr. Mixed, Craig Fischer, Clover Dukes, Schreiber High School; Dr. Mixed, Denise Berube, lan Smith, Manitouwadge High School; Sr. Boys Doubles, John Lanteigu, Jari Leinonen, Nipigon High School .
