AGE 12 TERRACE BAY NEWS DECEMBER 10, 1970 T.B.H.S. STUDENTS "TRADE" SHOPS The boys' and girls' occupational classes found last week's shop periods some what altered. For three classes a day the girls worked in the boys" shop under the direction of Mr. Capar while the boys were in the girls' occupations shop with Mrs. Brooks. Since no one knows what the future has in store, it is good practice to gain experience in various fields and maybe develop new and different interests and hobbies. The girls seemed quite interested in their projects of interior wood designs which included sawing, wood boring, drilling and sanding. The boys also enjoyed themselves learning proper nutrition by preparing meals of pancakes, macaroni, meat loaf and pies. Their short course also included good grooming and the operation of the sewing mach = ince and cash register.
