This meeting will be the first of a number to be held throughout the Northwest over the next year to try to stimulate growth and will cover such related subjects as; Secondary Industry, Access Roads, Trans- portation, Tourism, Government Buildings, Pollution, efc. We would hope for a good turnout of Township Council, Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Labour, interested organizations and general public. We noticed that very few adults seem to support the Terrace Bay team. One of the reasons why they pro- bably do not was clearly demonstrated last Saturday, November 21. The foul language of the fans leaves much to be desired. We might add this language is used by both sexes. We are not saying that Manitouwadge is a heavenly town, but our people are proud to attend all hockey games, and cheer our team on in the right fashion. Thank you. A few Copper Kings ans. COMMUNITY CHURCH BAZAAR GREAT SUCCESS What started out to be a Mini-bazaar turned out to be a Maxi success, when the ladies of the Community Church held their Christmas Bazaar and-Bake Sale on Saturday afternoon. The weather co-operated beau- tifully, as a record number of townspeople, young and old, arrived at door-opening to view the wares on the various tables, and then sit down to enjoy a delicious lunch, at the attractive tables.
