WELLINGS HEADS LADIES" GOLF CLUB Cast Tuesday members of the Aguasabon Ladies' Golf Club gathered in the Terrace Bay Motor Hotel where they enjoyed a wind-up dinner and aofter- wards held election of officers for the new term. Club President, lvy Pattison, welcomed those present ond introduced her executive: Vice Presi- dent = A. Adamo; Secretary = Cheryl Moore; Treasurer = B. Luke; Tournament Committee - P. Wellings and Julie Rattray; Prizes = A. Adamo; Publicity = M. Thomas; Membership = M. Phillips. Commenting on a most successful season, she men- tioned that one member had "walked 100 games" which comes to about 5¢ per game. During the business session reports were given by the executive and the election was conducted by M. Phillips with results as follows for two-year terms:- President = Peggy Wellings; Vice President- Jeannette Gunter and Secretary-Treasurer - Eliza- beth McLeod. Chairmen for the various committees will be chosen next Spring. Prizes won in various events were distributed as follows:~ P. Wellings presented Canadian Ladies' Golf Association Awards to A. Adamo (Pin); J Rattray (chain for pin won last year) = awards computed on Net Score. Match Play prizes went to J. Rattray, A. Adamo and |. Pattison; Board of Directors Awards were won by O. Adamo and P. Wellings; Club Championship prizes were given to P. Wellings, K. Stefurak and J. Rattray; Ist year Golfers - E. Boyd and D. Gorham, J. Mercier and C.J. Cotton. The Hiram Walker prizes went to M. Thomas, P. Wellings and J. Hall and A. Adamo In her closing remarks Mrs. Pattison urged mem- bers to attend the combined (men's and ladies' club meeting) scheduled for October 23rd. ATTENTION Brownie registration is being taken now.
